Hey gang, Now that WebRTC 1.0 is an official standard (it's like a dream come true!) and there seem to be less and less overlap with what I code and what I spec, now seems as good a time as any to take a break from holding the editor's pen and to refocus my time and energy. I'd like to announce officially stepping down from spec editing, joining you one last time next week. I feel like for the last few years, WebRTC 1.0 has been my baby. There have been times where transceivers have visited (or haunted?) my dreams after lengthy discussions, and I didn't "stop" (or was I "stopping"?) contributing to either spec or implementation just because I changed teams. Twice. I wanted the implementation(s) to live up to what the spec promised. And today, I can proudly say that they do. I won't completely disappear, I'm still hacking away on WebRTC-in-Chrome, and maybe I'll be able to attend the next in-person TPAC to battle Bernard on who is best at quoting RFCs from memory. Like a rap battle. But for now - it's been a pleasure working with you. I'll see you Thursday.
