Happy new year all! We are currently experiencing an abnormal load of emails on the mail server [1]. We might have two issues at the moment. One is that our MediaWiki setup might have a hole that spammers leverages to create spam accounts. The 2nd issue might be that the email server is sending messages too eagerly and should make more checks. I’m looking into it and I’ll keep you posted.
