https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=19376 Andrew R <eternicode@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |eternicode@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Andrew R <eternicode@gmail.com> --- Similar problem in Chromium 18.0.1025.168 under Ubuntu 11.10. I'll log in, but the session loss will happen seemingly sporadically. Sometimes I'll be logged out after a few page views, sometimes I'll be logged out immediately after hitting the post-login page (I'll attempt to upvote or downvote something on the forums homepage, only to be told to login again). Relatedly, this bug coupled with anonymous post moderation introduces a situation where one can "lose" one's post with no option to "reclaim" it: I go to a question, I'm logged in (username displayed in header), and the answer box is present. I open new tabs to the forums to track down links for references (potential duplicates, already accepted answers, etc), build my answer, and submit it. However, during my foraging, I must have been logged out -- upon submission of my answer, I am alerted that my post will be reviewed shortly. Normal reclamation process is to login, refresh the page, and click the "I wrote this" button. However, after logging in, the answer is not present. It hadn't been reviewed yet (mere seconds after being submitted), but apparently the aspect of the session that allows the "I wrote this" button is not allowing me to see the post I wrote. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
