I was also concerned about it. On the other hand, I'm not sure about hitting "Enter", will that be discoverable enough? I'm a heavy keyboard user and I never try it, since I know that if they haven't taken the care to make the menu keyboard accessible, Enter will just click the link. Also, most of our menus also serve as buttons, so Enter should trigger the function of the link.
