I was surprised to find that you cannot upload your avatar in the Preferences
page (http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/Special:Preferences) under User Profile.

The only way I was able to navigate to the avatar page was by going to the 
http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/User:Username page, but that page is not
linked to anywhere.
