Meant to say: Of course not. A Browser is actually a native application to its host operating system that provides Web Page browsing. As much as you would like to shoehorn everything into a Browser, the fundamental fact is that such quests are limited and rife with increasing pain and frustration. A Browser is one kind of application that can interact with services over an HTTP network. Mobile platforms don't depend solely on Browsers for HTTP interactions. Why should desktops? In my experience, there no such thing as good monoculture. -- Regards, Kingsley Idehen Founder & CEO OpenLink Software Company Web: http://www.openlinksw.com Personal Weblog 1: http://kidehen.blogspot.com Personal Weblog 2: http://www.openlinksw.com/blog/~kidehen Twitter Profile: https://twitter.com/kidehen Google+ Profile: https://plus.google.com/+KingsleyIdehen/about LinkedIn Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/kidehen Personal WebID: http://kingsley.idehen.net/dataspace/person/kidehen#this
