Starting a Weekly News Thread, please provide feedback

I am starting a new thread intending to provide the weekly news about 
virtual currencies and other news stories surrounding these subjects.

What are peoples preferences?
1)  Daily versus weekly?  I was preferring weekly to reduce noise.
2)  ONLY 1 parent thread with 1 posting per week?  Makes it easy to find 
the weekly news.  Dont post comments in this thread but start a new 
thread per subject of interest.  This will provide a great timeline of 
virtual currency news.
3)  New thread per week?  Let people post followup discussions to this 
thread?  Might be too noisy with intermixed subjects of interest.  Bit 
difficult to follow ideas.

Etc....

These are official news articles that have been released, not noisy 
blogs.  Its intended to save interested parties a lot of time sifting 
through search engines, off websites, blogs, duplicate articles, and 
mailing lists.

As discussed with Manu we will try this for 8 weeks to see how it goes.  
If this is or is not useful let us know.  Please provide feedback in 
this thread.
