In the end, the "HTTP Keys" name had the largest number of positive votes and so the Web Keys specification has been renamed to that. Re-directs have been put in place for any link that points to the older specification: https://github.com/web-payments/payswarm.com/commit/3bfb91474e23ae5deab239a1dbf39c454d3dcc05 Personally, I don't like the name because it's very difficult to convey what the spec does to a non-technical audience. I'm going to be on stage tomorrow talking about the spec in front of a number of executives in the financial community and I fear that saying "HTTP Keys" is going to make their eyes glaze over. So, I'm probably going to stick to saying "Secure Messaging" for now. We'll want to re-visit this decision. The old title, as well as the new one, sends the wrong message. I have notified the company that filed the cease-and-desist of the change. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Meritora - Web payments commercial launch http://blog.meritora.com/launch/
