Sorry for the spam to the list. A number of people have been getting the
false impression that we haven't had a teleconference in years based on
the web payments CG page hosted at W3C[2].

To remedy that, I'm going through and modifying the teleconference
minutes generation script[1] to automatically post the minutes to the
Web Payments Wordpress website[2] the second they're published to the
web-payments.org website[3].

The unfortunate reality is that the W3C runs an old version of Wordpress
(3.3.2). We need at least version 3.4 to automatically keep the minutes
in sync between the community website and the web-payments.org site.
Until the software is updated, keeping these two in sync will be a
manual process, which will inevitably lead to spam like the above when
the person sync'ing forgets to check the checkbox that prevents an
update email from being sent to the mailing list.

I've checked w/ the W3C systems team before to try and get them to
update the software. It's a low priority and a complex upgrade, which
means that it probably won't happen for some time. Until then, we'll
have to manually sync from time to time.
