We were contacted by a few folks from the Technology Working Group in the Occupy Wall Street Movement. They are attempting to create a financial system to ensure that donations made to the movement are fully transparent to the public, and to remove the manual process in which money is split during the act of donating. They were interested in PaySwarm and have already performed a test implementation of the technology to make sure it covers their needs. These people will be joining us on Tuesday's telecon to discuss their technology requirements, so the Agenda will focus on talking through the use cases that they require to be supported. If there are any updates or changes to the Agenda, please send them to the mailing list before the telecon or mention them at the beginning of the call. The dial-in information as well as minutes and audio logs of previous meetings can be found here: http://payswarm.com/minutes/ ========== Tuesday, September 4th 2012 Time: 1800 UTC, 11am San Francisco, 2pm Boston, 7pm London Digital Bazaar Telecon Bridge SIP: payswarm@digitalbazaar.com Phone US: +1.540.961.4469 x6300 irc://freenode.net/#payswarm Duration: 60 minutes Scribes: Longley, Manu, Jeff, Lehn ========== Agenda 1) Transparent Donations for OWS 2) Financial Autonomy for OWS Working Groups 3) OWS Alternative Currencies 4) Expected Implementation Timeline for Software -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny) President/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Which is better - RDFa Lite or Microdata? http://manu.sporny.org/2012/mythical-differences/
