Hi, Everybody,

Manu invited me to join this list after I wrote him with ideas about
alternative currency and crowdfunding for PaySwarm. (see new threads
soon.) Thanks, Manu!

My dad transmitted to me an interest--later fueled by my
anarcho-capitalism--in monetary theory, specifically, alternative
currencies and methods of payment and funding. A strict monetarist, I
see little future in:
- monopolized currency
- the global corporatism that depends on it
- state-enforced intellectual property

I am not a programmer, but an independent investigator in:
- philosophy (realism, from Objectivism to Tantric Hinduism to animism)
- health (Natural Hygiene)
- design (organic and dymaxion, material and conceptual)

My main work for three years has been experimenting with the use of
darkness retreats to heal from civilized (functional) psychosis,
caused by catastrophic psychic injury. Suffering from this myself in
the form of exhaustion-depression, I am looking for ways to be useful
while finding a way out of my predicament. Glad to be here.

Realizing that the discussion here is often technical, I'll reserve my
comments to issues of design and philosophy where it seems it could
help.

I'm glad to be here.

Sincerely,
Andrew
