Really? That's a bug, and they otta get switched back to what they
generally mean, ASAP:

Promise: a statement describing an action to be taken in the future. Also
known as "pledge" in fund-raising.

Promisor: the entity making the promise, e.g. the donor, the booster, the
investor, the sponsor, etc

Promisee: the entity expecting to receive benefit from the promise, e.g.
the project, the fund, the club, etc
