To round this out, based on the reactions to the [comment above](https://github.com/w3c/payment-request/issues/936#issuecomment-767029143) I think we've reached alignment. Introducing a normative dependency from Payment Request API to the Payment Handler API is not the correct approach, and the [example additional text](https://github.com/w3c/payment-request/issues/936#issuecomment-766918305) proposed sets an appropriate mitigation requirement for any payment handler (beyond just the Payment Handler API, as described above). -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
