I wonder what the purpose of this is? What is the requirement you're trying to address?

My understanding of the `displayItems` is that it's just for display so there is no value in having a type. If there are multiple amounts that should be passed to the payment app for the actual payment processing I'd want to understand what those are and why they are important for payment processing.
