Fascinating. Are you saying that there are (some) user agents / processors that actually use WebIDL as a way of creating their implementation? That shocks me. Regardless, we REALLY should have a way to say "and anything else" or "and anything else that matches a pattern". I note that WebIDL 1 is in CR review right now.
