Dear Web Payments IG: At our face to face meeting at MIT on 2016-07-01 the IG decided on the following resolution: RESOLUTION: This IG will propose submission of the Verifiable Claims WG to the W3M I accepted an action to report this resolution explicitly to the IG. This action is recorded here (minutes not yet public): https://www.w3.org/2016/07/01-wpay-minutes.html#action02 Note that this resolution moves the responsibility for working with Verifiable Claims to W3M. As a part of my action, I am reporting the following from the W3C process, which says the following: [All technical resolutions made by a meeting of the group are provisional until two weeks after being published to the mailing list. An objection made on the mailing list within two weeks of publishing a decision has the same standing as if it were made at the meeting.] Thanks to the Verifiable Claims Task Force for bringing the work to this point. Best regards, David
