Today the W3C Director proposed this charter to the W3C Membership:

The mission of the Hardware Security Working Group is to define a set of Hardware-Based Web Security
standard APIs providing Web Applications access to secure services enabled by hardware modules.

If your organization is interested in this work, please ask your Advisory Committee Representative to comment
on the proposal. Please note the 1 April deadline for comments.
