Dear Web Payments IG, I wanted to draw your attention to a press release issued today by the FIDO Alliance: https://fidoalliance.org/fido-alliance-opens-worldwide-cooperation-and-liaison-program/ The release includes this quote from W3C CEO Jeff Jaffe: "“The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) looks forward to working with the FIDO Alliance, particularly in areas where web standards for authentication will enhance the Open Web Platform and benefit the entire online ecosystem,” said Dr. Jeff Jaffe, W3C CEO.” I have mentioned future security work at W3C in this area and we are making progress in enabling that work to get underway.
