An alternate proposal, now that we have further input from the Credentials CG, the Web Payments IG, and some W3C staff members. The alternate proposal would be to: 1. Create a WPIG Verifiable Claims Task Force. 2. Underscore that it is a neutral area for discussion around use cases and concerns wrt. this area. The Task Force only needs a wiki page to outline what it should do. 3. Invite all parties that are interested to Tuesday 11am telecons to start, and then find a better time if folks would like the time to change. The first call would start the first week of December. 4. Specifically invite people that are concerned about the space to present their concerns and provide feedback on direction. 5. Specifically ask people that are wary of the work starting what they'd like to see discussed/addressed before a charter is crafted. 6. Specifically to not create a new CG to do the work, but rather use the WPIG Task Force structure to do the work. I expect the discussion to take the better part of the call. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Web Payments: The Architect, the Sage, and the Moral Voice https://manu.sporny.org/2015/payments-collaboration/
