Hello Ian, The Dutch Payments Association is doing work on variants of the iDEAL protocol for e-commerce. I have had a chat with them on the scope of the work of W3C WPIG. At this point in time the Betaalvereniging expects the WPIG work to be relevant for their standards at a later point in time. They are currently not reviewing use cases and architecture, but we could revisit that when the WPIG has published its first drafts. With kind regards, Evert -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Ian Jacobs [mailto:ij@w3.org] Verzonden: woensdag 25 maart 2015 18:21 Aan: Web Payments IG Onderwerp: [external_reviews] Status of discussions with various orgs in Europe? Hi all, Based on a conversation I had today I would like to ask the group if we have conversations ongoing with these organizations. I have some questions inline and welcome comments on the relation of the work of these orgs to our work. Thanks! * Dutch payments association. Are they in the process of developing new NL-specific payments standards? Can we chat with them and align that work with ours? http://www.betaalvereniging.nl/en/ * EU Payments council Work has apparently started on v2 of the Payment Services Directive. Is that the case and are we chatting them about our work? http://www.europeanpaymentscouncil.eu/ * Banking Industry Architecture Network. https://bian.org/ * European Banking Authority http://www.eba.europa.eu/ Please forgive my ignorance on our current discussions, if any, with these orgs!
