On 2025-10-24, the Web Media API Community Group [1] published the following specification: Web Media API Snapshot 2025 https://www.w3.org/community/reports/webmediaapi/CG-FINAL-webmediaapi-20251022/ This is a Call for Final Specification Commitments. To provide greater patent protection for this specification, participants [2] in the Web Media API Community Group are now invited to make commitments under the W3C Community Final Specification Agreement [3] by completing the commitment form.
