Hi All *Welcome* and Thanks for joining this group! *The aim* of this group is to convert as many systems as possible to the web, in line with Tim's article: http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/Webize.html Where possible, highest quality, 5 star linked data should be the goal, in line with the original aims of the web ( ie as laid out in Weaving the Web [1], or Design Issues [2] ). The aim is to build one big interoperable eco system where everyone benefits from everyone else's work, with little or no integration complexity. *Scope.* It would be good to take advantage of low hanging fruit such as free software projects that could be useful and easily converted. However as the title implies over time it would be good to webize "everything" that may be useful in a web context. Please feel free to add projects or systems that you'd like to help with or wish to brain storm. *Wiki* I've set up a very basic wiki page where we an record what projects have been already webized, and those we'd like to. I'm hoping we can also share experiences of how to do things both on this list and on the wiki: http://www.w3.org/community/webize/wiki/Main_Page As for me the first project I am looking at is bitcoin [3], I will send out an update when I've added some more documentation and have a working demo. I look forward to working with you all to Webize Everything! :) Best Melvin Carvalho [1] http://www.w3.org/People/Berners-Lee/Weaving/Overview.html [2] http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/ [3] http://bitcoin.org/
