Chair's overview - 2024W10

Hello all,

Back with another “chair’s overview” - more about these in our CONTRIBUTING.md [1] file.

The most important priority for this week is reviewing PR #66 [2], which is a first attempt at moving forward on the matter of serialization formats by relaxing the current MUST on Turtle to an emphatic SHOULD on Turtle.

Secondarily, there’s a number of long-standing issues that I’d like to address, either through PRs or simply by closing them, but more feedback is needed to figure out how to move forward with each. If you haven’t done so already, I kindly ask you to speak your mind on the following:

- Issue #10 [3], discussing IRI vs. URI vs. URL (WHATWG) and URL (W3C)

- Issue #11 [4], discussing issues with the diagram that illustrates the relationships between a WebID, the Agent it names and the WebID Profile Document it dereferences to

- Issue #20 [5], discussing whether to keep “Profile” in "WebID Profile Document”

Have a lovely week!

Best,
Jacopo.
