We used to do call, iirc.  Particularly in the XG (incubator group).  But I
dont think there's been one for a long time.

I was on the fence on this.  However the recent pivot by the W3C to couple
together WebID and DID, which imho are very different efforts, sees me
wanting to direct my energy elsewhere.

I'll follow from a slight distance, and instead progress with implementing
a lite version of solid with webid, an implementation loosely based on
group consensus.
