The beauty of a WebID is as follows:

Adhering to the baseline principle of using an HTTP to name Agents 
offers immense integrating and bootstrap utility, with regards to the 
broader Web.

Obscuring what a WebID is takes away all of that power.

As I type, there are million (if not billions) of WebIDs being generated 
all over the Web.
