That definition is confusing, due to the same old issues with 
terminology conflation. "WebID" is not a catchall branding term.

You have a WebID which names Agents.

You have a WebID-Profile Document that describes Agents i.e., comprises 
their credentials.

You have WebID-TLS as an example of a protocol used to authenticate Agents.

Catchall branding doesn't work, it simply leads to confusion that 
ultimately slows everything down.
