Modern decentralized identity projects

Identity is a hot topic in the blockosphere, apart from webid, there is the
DID initiative.

I'll share 4 that were recently pointed out to me, and I think much can be
learnt from the messaging, if not the just the tech

It might be time to moderneize webid as the group was more active in the
past.

Namely, patches are being left for long periods.  Links are broken and need
to be fixed.  Credentials are missing or lost.  Many have left the group or
become inactive.

Does anyone want to volunteer to help get modernize webid?
