All, Note: http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/Generic.html . Again, relevant material for discussions in progress re. WebID, WebID Profile Documents, and the WebID over TLS authentication protocol. "entity" isn't an alien term to TimBL, so it shouldn't be an alien term in discussion relating to Linked Data or anything that depends on Linked Data. A WebID Profile Document is basically a Webby entity relationship graph endowed with machine and human comprehensible entity relationship semantics. WebID over TLS is ultimately about exploiting the logic that underlies entity relationship semantics exposed by WebID profile documents. URIs deliver the Name -> Address indirection -- implicitly via hash and explicitly via hashless dereferenacable HTTP URIs. Note: An HTTP URI isn't implicitly de-referencable. A URL is, a nuance, but one of immense importance. -- Regards, Kingsley Idehen Founder & CEO OpenLink Software Company Web: http://www.openlinksw.com Personal Weblog: http://www.openlinksw.com/blog/~kidehen Twitter/Identi.ca handle: @kidehen Google+ Profile: https://plus.google.com/112399767740508618350/about LinkedIn Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/kidehen
