Yes, in a nutshell. We have to establish high level concepts before 
elving into implementation details. Whenever aforementioned sequence 
back to front, we simply end up with yet another unintended and utterly 
distracting war around implementations details.

The concept of identity is just that, a concept. It transcends platforms.
