WG meeting minutes and future call schedule

Hello WG,

 

The minutes of today's call are online at

Our written notes are rather sparse because much of the discussion time was
spent looking at written documents (see agenda). Most of them were reviewed
and agreed on, so there is a clear path forward (and "to do list" associated
with it).

 

Two things I'd like to bring to your attention:

1)      Our current charter was extended until end of March 2023, and the
new draft charter
<https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/2022/webfonts-2022.html>  is being
reviewed. Upon its approval, the WG member companies will have to re-join
the group, and your AC representative will need to re-nominate you to be a
participant. This is a relatively easy step (there are only 3 boxes to
check, I believe) but please keep an eye for when it happens and remind your
AC rep to do so.

2)      The holiday season is almost upon us, and, realistically, not much
gets done when people take vacations to spend time with their extended
family. Due to personal time off and conflicts with other events, we plan to
resume our regular calls starting January 24th, with the tentative earlier
date of January 10 if we run into things that require additional
discussions.
