New WG charter is up for AC vote

Hello WG,

I am happy to inform you that after a period of relatively low activity things are looking up - the new charter for the WebFonts WG<https://www.w3.org/Fonts/WG/webfonts-2018-ac.html> is published and up for W3C Advisory Committee vote. Ten W3C members have already vote to support this new activity, four of them expressed the desire to join the group.

Thank you to all who voted early (among them, Adobe, Microsoft and Monotype who are participants of the WG) but we still need more votes to approve the new charter. So please, get in touch with your respective AC representatives and ask them to vote "yes" on new WebFonts WG charter. The voting period ends on Nov. 20, we do have some time left, but these three weeks will fly by really quickly if we don't take actions!
