Great news, thank you Chris! -----Original Message----- From: Chris Lilley [mailto:chris@w3.org] Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2015 5:18 AM To: WebFonts WG Subject: Progress on font top level type: IETF WG proposed charter Hello, The proposed top level font media type was discussed at IETF in Japan (I wasn't there for it, but had advised the two W3C-IETF liaison people, who were). As a result a charter for an IETF working group is proposed. It will take my Internet Draft as starting point and develop an RFC while maintaining a liaison with this WG. The draft charter is at http://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/charter-ietf-justfont/ and Barry Leiba (one of the IETF Area Directors) will take it to IESG review on Nov. 19. The proposed milestone for the RFC is April 2016. This mail relates to ACTION-172: Register font media types -- Best regards, Chris Lilley Technical Director, W3C Interaction Domain
