FYI -----Original Message----- From: Coralie Mercier [mailto:coralie@w3.org] Sent: Wednesday, April 08, 2015 5:55 AM To: w3c-ac-forum@w3.org Cc: chairs@w3.org Subject: WebFonts Working Group Charter Extended Dear Advisory Committee Representative, Chairs, The WebFonts Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended until 31 May 2017. This Working Group is extended in order to continue work on WOFF 2.0. This took longer than originally planned, because of the need to change to a new compression scheme and to deal with deficiencies in one of the normative references. Updated versions of the WOFF 2.0 specification and the associated Evaluation Report are currently being prepared for publication. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Chris Lilley <chris@w3.org>, Team Contact. This extension follows section 6.2.5 of the W3C Process Document [2]. For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director, Philippe Le Hegaret, Interaction Domain Leader, Chris Lilley, Team Contact; Coralie Mercier, Acting Head of W3C Marketing & Communications [1] http://www.w3.org/2012/06/WebFonts/charter-2012.html [2] http://www.w3.org/2014/Process-20140801/#charter-extension -- Coralie Mercier - W3C Communications Team - http://www.w3.org mailto:coralie@w3.org +336 4322 0001 http://www.w3.org/People/CMercier/
