Hello Working group, As planned, the Google Compression team pushed out a new version of Brotlito the open source project. The highlights (see the previous update for a full list), include: simplifications to the Brotli format, decompression speed gains for a text corpus, improved text compression (now within 3% of LZMA), etc. Also, the new WOFF 2.0 (w/ Brotli) conversion tool has been open sourced. We are very eager to see the new conversion tool run over the large font collections (Monotype, Adobe/Typekit, and more) as was done for the LZMAbased implementation earlier. This could be good to explore in the conference call today. Thank you, David (on behalf of the extended team)
