Hello John, On the WebFonts WG call just now, there was a certain amount of confusion with people seeing different things, in the editors draft of CSS3 Fonts. After a while it turned out that if you add the explicit Overview.html http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-fonts/Overview.html you get an editors draft dated 7 April 2011 but if you omit it http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-fonts/ you get an editors draft dated 25 March 2011 That shouldn't really be happening. I wondered if there was maybe an old index.html in the directory, or something? http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-fonts/index.html but no. However there is a Fonts.html http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-fonts/Fonts.html dated 25 March and that seems to be what is being served if Overview.html is not explicitly asked for. And this is caused by .htaccess which says AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 DirectoryIndex Fonts.html if there are links to Fonts.html that you don't want to break, adding a redirect to Overview.html in the .htaccess would seem to be a better idea. Or is there some other difference between these two files? Both Fonts.html and Overview.html seem to have extensive cvs histories http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/csswg/css3-fonts/Fonts.html http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/csswg/css3-fonts/Overview.html -- Chris Lilley Technical Director, Interaction Domain W3C Graphics Activity Lead, Fonts Activity Lead Co-Chair, W3C Hypertext CG Member, CSS, WebFonts, SVG Working Groups
