Hello WG, As a follow up on questions raised during today's conference call re: agenda for summer F2F - I expect that by the time we meet the first public draft will either be published (or ready to be published) and the main agenda items will be the remaining deliverables for the group. These include: - review and discuss the existing implementations (I hope we'll have something to discuss by that time ;) - conformance specification; - test suite for WOFF; - test suites for WebFonts TBD in collaboration with CSS, SVG and XSL group (to be ready for our meetings in November). I hope that F2F meeting would offer an environment where we can be more productive in defining the future work items and milestones for the remaining deliverables, something that may not be easily accomplished over email. Given existing travel and budget restrictions and to minimize an additional expense, the idea was to co-locate the F2F with an event that many people would plan to attend regardless of WG meeting. With this in mind, please respond reiterating or stating your travel plans, if they are not yet recorded in the spreadsheet: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webfonts-wg/2010Jun/att-0102/Summer_F2F_schedule.xls In particular, please indicate ASAP whether you will be attending AtypI in Dublin (it seems that quite a few WG members may have a conflict between TypeCon and CSS WG F2F in August). Sylvain, Sergei, HÃ¥kon, Adam - please respond with the information on your summer travel schedule. Chris - does W3C have any budget to support WG F2F meetings, if hosting a meeting would incur any additional expense? How does CSS WG manages the group meetings - are they sponsored or all the expenses are covered by participating members? Thank you, Vlad > -----Original Message----- > From: Sylvain Galineau [mailto:sylvaing@microsoft.com] > > Definitely. Other than that, I will be at TPAC. Not sure yet about > TypeCon in August.
