That's actually the opposite of what I wrote, I'd prefer to meet *before* the Main Conference program (Aug. 20-22) as I will probably need to fly out during the Main Conference time. If we intend to have a face-to-face meeting in proximity to TypeCon, which I think is a good idea, I volunteer to be liason with the conference organisers. I'm pretty sure, based on past experience working with them on pre-conference workshops and meetings, that they will be able to organise meeting space at the conference hotel. I would also see if I can negotiate a conference registration discount for those WG members able to attend. I would also like to organise a panel session for the conference, as a (less dramatic) follow up to last year's session, at which the WG could report on progress and outline the direction the standardisation process is taking.
