Our best chance is try to co-locate our F2F with another event – two possible options are TypeCon (Aug. 17-22 in Los Angeles) and ATypI (Sep. 8-12 in Dublin). We should also plan to have the face-to-face meeting in November 1-5 during the W3C TPAC meeting (Lyon, France) - this meeting is organized by W3C and is well-attended by many WG members. It will give us a chance to have our WG meeting as well as to meet with other WGs (e.g. CSS) if necessary. TypeCon in LA in August is pretty bad for me - both timing and location (when I'll have just been over to California and Canada a few weeks earlier) are awkward. I *might* be able to make it, if that's best for everyone else, but can't say for sure at this point. Dublin in September and Lyon in November are both preferable; I'm pretty sure I could make either of those without difficulty. JK
