Hi All - although the W3C's Director has not made a decision on the proposed Pointer Events WG, some people (e.g. members of the Web Events group) have expressed interest in an _informal_ "chat/gathering/get-together" about Pointer Events during the upcoming TPAC meeting week [TPAC] (October 29 - November 2; Lyon, FR). Some options: meet _after_ the WG meetings end (~17:30+), reserve a PointerEvents table during one of the lunches, meet during one of the coffee breaks, etc. Another option - if someone wants to take the lead - is to propose and lead a PointerEvents session during one of the breakout sessions during Wednesday's Technical Plenary meeting (see [Breakout] for a list of current session proposals). If you are interested in such a meeting, please state your preference on when to meet. (I don't think we will be able to accommodate remote participants but if we do meet, I'll send a summary and highlights to these lists.) -AB [TPAC] <http://www.w3.org/2012/10/TPAC/> [Breakout] <http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2012/SessionIdeas> -------- Original Message -------- Subject: ACTION-100: Determine the level of interest of an impromptu PointerEvents gathering @ TPAC 2012 (Web Events Working Group) Date: Fri, 28 Sep 2012 16:09:02 +0000 From: ext Web Events Working Group Issue Tracker <sysbot+tracker@w3.org> Reply-To: Web Events Working Group <public-webevents@w3.org> To: <art.barstow@nokia.com> ACTION-100: Determine the level of interest of an impromptu PointerEvents gathering @ TPAC 2012 (Web Events Working Group) http://www.w3.org/2010/webevents/track/actions/100 On: Arthur Barstow Due: 2012-10-05
