Re: Indie UI WG Started; Join the Indie UI Task Force

Art, Doug,

I have internal IBM approval to join the work and I have asked Steve
Holbrook to nominate me for the working group.

Doug,

When you see that Steve has nominated me please register me in the Task
Force.

Thank you,
Rich

Subject:	Indie UI WG Started; Join the Indie UI Task Force

Hi All,

In case you missed it, the Indie UI Working Group was formally started
last week. The group's charter is at [Charter] and its home page is [Home]

As discussed earlier, two of the Indie UI group's specs are "joint"
deliverables with the Web Events WG. As such, to participate in the
Indie UI specs, you must join the Independent User Interface Task Force
and to do so, *please submit a request to Doug Schepers and he will
register you in this TF*. (The TF's home page is [TF-Home] and the TF's
participant list is [TF-Participants].)

The plan is for the TF to have bi-weekly calls starting on June 6 but
for the first couple of weeks, calls may be held weekly. I will make
sure public-webevents is notified of the first call's details.

If you have any questions about the TF, please let us know

-Thanks, Art Barstow
