Hi, I've pushed an Editor's Draft into HG for the discussed/proposed joystick API. I've called it "Gamepad" instead of "Joystick" for now, as I believe that's what we were leaning towards for a name (avoiding "controller" as overly general, but moving away from the 1980's feel of "joystick" ;-). This was mostly a test to see if I could access hg successfully, so I've simply pushed my initial attempt with a couple tweaks. Ted, please don't take that as an indication that I'm overly attached to my draft as a starting point, and please do start hacking it up wrt the Mozilla design/implementation as you have time. It uses "ReSpec.js" to do formatting which seems to be a standard and convenient way to get the standard formatting and boilerplate without a lot of fiddling <http://dev.w3.org/2009/dap/ReSpec.js/documentation.html>. For reference, the hg repository is at: <https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/webevents/> and the tip/HEAD of the draft is here: <http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/webevents/raw-file/tip/gamepad.html> As discussed, the next step should be to outline use cases we hope to address, and the scope of the API. scott
