I agree that resuming regular calls would provide s productive forcing function to help the remaining decisions get made and the specification finished. -- Mike ________________________________ From: GALINDO Virginie<mailto:Virginie.Galindo@gemalto.com> Sent: ý1/ý26/ý2016 10:13 AM To: Ryan Sleevi<mailto:sleevi@google.com> Cc: public-webcrypto@w3.org<mailto:public-webcrypto@w3.org>; Harry Halpin<mailto:hhalpin@w3.org> Subject: RE: [W3C Web Crypto] CfC to get back to conf call working method ? (please answer before the 2nd of february) Ryan, The agenda of the first one will be : - Test suite status - State of browser implementations, gap with Web Crypto API - Possible timeline the group can reach on the rec track - Charter renewal / extension One of the objective I am also targeting is to rebuild a team/working group spirit – we got few folks joining recently from mozilla and microsoft. We need to have live discussion to reboot and re-motivate the WG, with respect to the recent news (you, resigning from editorship or the block point where we are in terms of implementations versus spec). I know that you feel this is a waste of time, as this does not correspond to your favorite working method. But as chair, I believe that it will help the WG to progress. (please answer before the 2nd of february) Are there concrete agendas for these conference calls? Or are they just status updates? I do not believe, given the activity, that a conference call would be particularly helpful. The proposal here is to start meeting every two weeks, starting on the 15th of February. The rationale for coming into a more active mode is to share on tests suite development and implementers debug progress and align the specification around a real interoperable set of feature. We will keep our call time to Monday @ 20:00 UTC. Thanks for confirming support or raising objection to that working mode prior to the 2nd of February.
