Dear all, The Web Crypto WG will enter soon its maintenance phase. This corresponds to the phase where the WG will receive request for adding new algorithm(s) in the Web Crypto API. As we have decided, any new algorithm will go into a Note, named "Proposed Algorithms for Web Cryptography API Note". The identified algorithm for which we already have some text is curve 25519 [1]. Nevertheless the CFRG already recommended some algorithms for the TLS cipher suite and we may have to include more algorithms soon. The WG is currently looking for editors (ideally 2), which mandate will be to integrate the proposed algorithms into that Note. He/she will be working in collaboration with promoters of new algorithms. Anyone interested to get involved in the future algorithms (and challenges] of the Web Crypto API ?
