Bug ID: 25711
Summary: Not clear if keys persist across sessions
Product: Web Cryptography
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Web Cryptography API Document
Assignee: sleevi@google.com
Reporter: kelsey.cairns@inria.fr
CC: public-webcrypto@w3.org
It isn't clear whether key objects are intended to persist after a
session is closed. If they do, how are they re-identified? Will the
browser guarantee they always get the same handle? If not, are you
supposed to re-key each time?
