W3C Web Crypto WG - status (and lets discuss tonight)

Hi all,

My mistake, I missed the call for agenda for our Monday call, so the call tonight might not be crowded. Nevertheless I suggest to keep it and see how many people show up. In the meantime, I would like to highlight the following discussions/topics related to our working group :

- The Web Crypto API under Last Call has now 37 bugs open https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/buglist.cgi?component=Web%20Cryptography%20API%20Document&product=Web%20Cryptography&resolution=--- (I guess editors will be happy to gain support and comments on those ones)

- The TAG is actively looking at the web crypto API, discussions can be followed here : https://github.com/w3ctag/spec-reviews/issues/3#issuecomment-42081556

- I got some contacts with Yandex, they will look at the web crypto API and comment if needed.

- The september workshop to discuss hardware token and secure services integration has been approved by the W3C management, its scope and sponsorship is under finalization.

- The WG may switch to the working method of web app (as required by some participants), this means that any resolution taken during a F2F or call will be submitted to a 10 days period for comment/objection, allowing people to take part of decision, even if not present (see http://www.w3.org/2012/webapps/charter/Overview.html#decisions)

Talk to you later, at 20:00 UTC, this Monday !

Regards,

Virginie
