https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=27506 Bug ID: 27506 Summary: Inconsistent error for AES-CTR's "get key length" operation Product: Web Cryptography Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Web Cryptography API Document Assignee: sleevi@google.com Reporter: ericroman@google.com CC: public-webcrypto@w3.org AES-CTR throws a DataError in its "get key length" operation if the length is not one of {128, 192, 256}. Whereas the other AES algorithms throw an OperationError in this case. I suggest using OperationError for AES-CTR to match the others. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
