This question has me thinking about whether or not we should also ask another question, something like: "What does it mean for this API to be 'high-level' or 'low-level'?" Would it make sense to have the low/high-level question have checkbox answers instead of radios? I don't think they should be mutually exclusive (we could have a low level API with high level wrappers) and many developers might be interested in having both levels for different applications.
