Dear Web Commerce Interest Group,
Our next group call takes place Monday, 24 September from 10-11am ET (14:00-15:00 UTC).
Pramod Varma (CTO for EkStep) [1] will speak with us about India's "Unified Payment Interface (UPI)" system, its background, current status, architecture and design, and what's coming up. The UPI system is (according to wikipedia [2]):
“[A]n instant real-time payment system developed by National Payments Corporation of India facilitating inter-bank transactions.
The interface is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India and works by instantly transferring funds between two bank accounts
on a mobile platform.”
This presentation was planned for September but had to be canceled [1].

Meet on irc.w3.org in #wpay.
NOTE:
* I do not expect there to be a December call of the Web Commerce IG
* The next WCIG call is scheduled for 28 January 2019
Thank you,
Ian
