Restricting who can create an account on a website (or providing the means to restrict) is not in scope for the Web Authentication API. WebAuthn itself doesn't deal with accounts at all. It is an API for creating and asserting credentials. You can accomplish this via other means if it is required for your business needs/policies. -- GitHub Notification of comment by timcappalli Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/2222#issuecomment-2623472696 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
