> Is generic extension pass-through getting much usage, if any? Could be worth dropping. Alternatively, I believe the solution you outlined in the [#1703](https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/pull/1703) discussion is a fair workaround to consider. When all the client browsers are dropping these unknown extensions, it is unlikely that such lesser-known extensions will get any usage. That's precisely why we need to have pass-through of extensions meant for endpoints on intermediaries so as to facilitate experimentations with extensions of the protocol. -- GitHub Notification of comment by joshzhao Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/issues/1730#issuecomment-3201770446 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
